Jubilee Church Derby

Youth at Jubilee Church Derby

RootID exists as a place where young people can explore the Christian faith, encourage and support one another and grow as followers of Jesus. Below are some of the ways to get involved.

Newday

Each year, we take young people from the church to Newday, one of the largest Christian youth events in the UK. It is open to anyone of secondary school age (years 7-13). The aim of Newday is to envision and equip in God a generation to play their part in the world. The event includes worship, teaching and seminars, as well as sporting tournaments, caf?s and lots of social activities.

Devoted Youth

Devoted

We are encouraging all our young people to join with us as a church family at Devoted - A ChristCentral festival for all the family. This is a weekend festival hosted by the family of churches we are part of and takes place every other year at Staffordshire Showground.

Safeguarding

Jubilee Church Derby regards protecting and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults as a priority. To help us provide a safe and welcoming environment for all, we have developed and operate a Safeguarding Policy, which is registered with 31:8. As part of our safer recruitment process we also require DBS checks for all children's and youth work volunteers and anyone who regularly volunteers with vulnerable adults. To make contact with our Safeguarding Team email: safeguarding@jubilee.org.uk.
